About me

I’m a software developer, a maker, and a tinkerer. I like building things, hacking on things, and figuring out how things work. Software, electronics, hardware, weird side projects. If something looks fun to take apart or fun to build from scratch, I’ll probably end up doing it.

A lot of what I make ends up online, free for anyone who wants it. Tools, small services, documentation, source code. I believe in a free and open internet, in self-hosting, and in being honest about how things work. No ads, no tracking, no accounts, no walled gardens. Just stuff that works, for whoever wants to use it.

If something I’ve built has been useful to you and you can afford to chip in toward hosting, parts, server costs, or just the time it takes to keep making things, the options below are how to do that. None of it is required. The stuff stays free either way.

• Tell someone about it. An archivist, a researcher, a community sitting on data they wish was searchable.
• Report bugs, wrong results, or ideas: write to asmodel@tuta.com.
• Suggest archives or projects to work on next. Open data, weird corpora, niche communities, hardware, software. All fair game.
